Today Saturn in Capricorn squares Venus in Libra, asking us to take a look at the more serious side of sweetness. This combo is excellent for the re-affirmation of and commitment to, any and all of our loving relationships. This is a good time to look into the eyes of our beloveds and say: “I’m here to do the work.”

Beware the other side of this Astro-coin which is deep feelings of alienation and/or disconnection. Being too boundaried, too rigid, giving up too easily. Some romantic endeavors may get very serious very quickly, while other new sparks are suddenly stamped out.

For my derby friends this might be a time when what you value as a skater is being tested and stretched. Venus often represents our values and Saturn likes to put anything it touches to work. With Aquarius still retrograde, We’re in a period of review for all of our martial activities (roller derby included) and this Saturn-Venus square adds in questions of value, worth, time, and resources into the mix. IMHO, it might behoove anyone considering drastic roller derby career choices to hold off on any major decisions until after Mars has gone direct at the end of August. 🌑
